Erica Bates brings 15 years of experience in education to her role. She has served as an elementary teacher, high school Career Technical Education teacher, and district administrator. Currently, Erica serves as the Statewide CTE Coordinator at the Texas Education Agency, where she oversees Education and Training, Human Services and Hospitality and Tourism Career Clusters. Her passion lies in preparing students for college, career and military success along with providing crucial support to educators.
