Renda Songer

Renda Songer is the Executive Director of FACT Education (Foundation for Advancement of Career & Technical Education) and the Lead Regional Convener for the North Central Texas Regional Pathways Project. In the past, Renda was employed with the Region 10 Education Service Center as a Career and Technical Education
Consultant and Grant Writer. Prior, she worked for several school districts across North and East Texas as an administrator, but she is most proud of her work in the classroom as a teacher.
In her current role with FACT Education, Renda works with K-12 schools, Higher Educaton organizations, and leading industry professionals to develop strategies that are a catalyst in expanding opportunities and experiences for students to learn of, about, and at work. She holds a master’s degree in public administration, a master's degree in educational administration, K-12 principal certification, an education specialist degree in curriculum and instruction, and is currently enrolled at Liberty University wrapping up a PhD in Advanced Curriculum and Instruction.
